Used by indigenous Nordic peoples for centuries, this wonderful mushroom is now available to you in ready-to-brew chunks that yields delicious and nutritious tea with earthy and vanilla-esque flavors.
For those wanting to increase their intake of antioxidants and supercharge their health, Chaga Chunks is a medicinal mushroom tea supporting vitality, wellness, and longevity.
This wild mushroom tea may modulate the immune system, fight free radicals, battle infections, alleviate inflammation, treat IBD (ulcerative colitis and Chron's disease), lower bad cholesterol, support heart health, maintain healthy hormones, and beautify the hair, skin, and nails, among many other health benefits.*
Chaga Chunks contains:
Use: brew by simmering 12.5 g. (0.44 oz.) of chaga in 1 l. (1 qt.) spring water in a covered pot (glass, ceramic, cast-iron, or stainless steel) over low heat for 2 - 8 hours. Chaga chunks can be reused and brewed several times over, until they no longer yield a dark-colored decoction.
We recommend brewing 2 liters or more in each brewing session, bottling the tea in glass bottles or jars once cooled down, storing it in the fridge, and warming it up as needed. The brewed tea can be kept in the fridge for maximum 14 days.
Chaga decoction may be used as tea (hot or iced), in stock, soups, smoothies, baking, and other culinary applications. Adding a spoon of Raw Norwegian Wildflower Honey to your chaga tea is highly recommended (at drinking temperature).
